Overview

DENALI Services comptables inc. is seeking a motivated and organized Accounting Technician to join their team in Quebec. The role involves managing client accounts with a strong emphasis on collaboration, rigor, and attention to detail, ideally suited for candidates with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform complete bookkeeping for various client accounts
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and accounting entries
  • Prepare tax reports (TPS/TVQ)
  • Assist with month-end and year-end activities
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Produce reconciliations, adjusting entries, and tax reports
  • Contribute to individual income tax production
  • Collaborate with CPAs and team members
  • Respond to routine client requests professionally

Required skills

  • DEC in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Acomba, Sage or others)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in an accounting firm (asset)
