Overview

As a Trailer Technician at Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) in Cavendish, Vermont, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services on trailers and related equipment. Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance or repair needs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication and component replacement
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer issues using appropriate tools
  • Repair or replace damaged trailer parts including electrical and braking systems
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and bodywork repairs as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a Trailer or Truck Mechanic
  • Knowledge of trailer systems including electrical, suspension, and braking components
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, and/or tailgate repairs
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Heavy Truck & Garage safety principles
  • Basic knowledge of ABS diagnostic software
  • Ability to lift up to 85 pounds safely
