Job Description

Overview

Groupe Pro Accès is seeking Technicians in security systems to join their dynamic team in Lévis, Quebec. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various security systems such as motorized barriers, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, emergency communication systems, access control systems, and video surveillance.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems including barriers, alarms, IP cameras, NVRs, intercoms, and access controls
  • Perform accurate diagnostics and efficiently resolve technical issues
  • Program and configure network settings for equipment (IP, PoE, routers, VLAN, etc.)
  • Conduct tests, verifications, and commissioning according to standards
  • Write clear and complete intervention reports
  • Provide professional and courteous service to clients
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company quality standards

Required skills

  • DEP in installation and maintenance of security systems or electricity
  • Certificate of competence CCQ - apprentice or companion
  • Minimum three years of experience
  • Knowledge in electronics, cabling, and security systems
  • Ability to read plans, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and sense of responsibility
  • Customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Private security bureau card
  • ASP Construction card with WHMIS
