Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for customers, service centers, and internal personnel. The role emphasizes the need for a collaborative approach to ensure training aligns with operational and business goals while maintaining current knowledge of product features and service procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led EO/IR maintenance training to global customers and service centers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for maintenance training, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve maintenance training programs and materials.
  • Develop and maintain training assessments and evaluation tools, analyzing feedback to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership in developing standardized troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training content reflects current operational requirements.
  • Support factory repair and maintenance activities to maintain technical proficiency.
  • Participate in New Product Introduction activities and review service manuals.

Required skills

  • Experience in technical training delivery and adult learning principles.
  • Solid foundation in electronics, electro-mechanical, electro-optical, and video systems.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering technical training programs and curriculum.
  • Knowledge of eLearning principles and blended learning approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multilingual capability considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field.
