Description: Location: NY/NJ Northeast US Territory (Local to the Area Required)Salary: $80,000-$145,000 + Commission + Bonus + Company CarTravel: Approximately 75% About the Opportunity RITA Corporation is seeking an experienced B2B Technical Sales Representative to develop and manage customer relationships throughout the Northeast.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished outside sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business, and managing a territory with a high level of independence.Experience selling specialty chemicals, raw materials, ingredients, personal care, cosmetics, home care, cleaning products, or other technical products is highly preferred, but not required. We will also consider successful B2B sales professionals from related technical or manufacturing industries who have the ability and interest to learn our products and markets.This is a true field sales position. The successful candidate will spend approximately 3-4 days per week visiting customers throughout the territory and work remotely from home when not traveling.Candidates must reside in New York or New Jersey. What You'll Do Develop & Grow Your TerritoryManage and grow existing customer accounts throughout the Northeast.Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.Build relationships with purchasing, R&D, formulation, QC/QA, and other key decision-makers.Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, products, applications, and ingredient needs.Introduce customers to additional products and solutions within RITA's portfolio.Consultative & Technical SalesLearn RITA's portfolio of specialty chemicals, raw materials, and functional ingredients.Work with customers to understand their product and formulation needs and recommend appropriate solutions.Partner with RITA's Technical Services, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to support customer needs.Coordinate product samples, technical requests, pricing, and follow-up activities.Business Development & Market IntelligenceProspect for new customers and applications within personal care, cosmetics, home care, cleaning, pharmaceutical, and related markets.Identify market trends, competitive activity, pricing changes, and new business opportunities.Attend customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and company sales meetings.Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the territory.Territory ManagementMonitor customer activity, sales performance, order history, and growth opportunities.Prepare sales forecasts, customer call reports, monthly itineraries, and other sales documentation.Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain regarding forecasts and customer demand.Manage territory expenses responsibly while maximizing sales opportunities and profitability.
