You'll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of water treatment programs and services in targeted Institutional accounts. With a consultative sales approach, you'll build relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers and executing system assurance programs. With strong account leadership, you'll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. Target % sales time will be approximately 25%.Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow salesDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executivesProvide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as requiredEngage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco WaterTerritory/Location Information: This position is supporting the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, including Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and a surrounding territory of approximately a 1500KM radiusTargeted accounts are within the Institutional sector including healthcare, hospitals, hotels, universities, commercial buildings, data centres etc.4 - 6 nights/month of overnight travel will be requiredAs a trusted partner, your customers will rely on you for their success. Nalco Water is committed to seeing you succeed and provides several exceptional technical training programs to ensure you're prepared to solve any customer problem. Training programs are held in the field and at Ecolab Nalco Water Headquarters in Naperville, IL; travel arranged and paid for by Ecolab. Based on your skill level, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, management and leadership, classroom training and certifications. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeRelated technical sales or field sales support experiencePossess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordAble to travel to the US for training/meetingsImmigration sponsorship is not available for this rolePreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experienceWorking knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systemsAnnual Compensation Range: This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms. Eligibility for incentive compensation will commence upon successful completion of training. Total expected compensation is in the range of $90 700.00 Ecolab in good faith anticipates it
