Overview

The Technical Sales Rep at Global Compression Services is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth within an assigned territory. This role requires a strong sales focus and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet customer needs and achieve sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth for GCS products, services, and technical solutions, focusing on gas compression equipment.
  • Develop and execute account and territory sales plans with the Branch Manager.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Present and promote GCS products and services to improve customer performance and efficiency.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend practical solutions aligned with GCS' offerings.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies for key accounts and prospects.
  • Partner with internal resources to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company's CRM or business systems.
  • Monitor customer activity and territory performance for growth opportunities.
  • Create a customer contact schedule for consistent engagement.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support sales efforts.
  • Support delivery, pickup, and customer service needs as required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and teamwork.
