Overview

Outlier AI is seeking a Technical Consultant to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will contribute to improving AI agents by providing human feedback and will work on training Large Language Models (LLMs) to function as proficient, multi-step agents.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation
  • Provide technical feedback on complex system behaviors
  • Collaborate with AI organizations to optimize workflows
  • Implement and integrate agents with live tools and APIs
  • Handle multi-turn system interactions in live environments

Required skills

  • 2+ years experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or systems integration
  • Proficiency in at least two major programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Go, Java)
  • Experience working with SQL databases
  • Attention to detail in technical feedback
  • Comfort implementing persistent state and session discovery
