Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a full-time Grocery Team Member to support various functions within the grocery department, including stocking, inventory management, and customer service. This role emphasizes personal growth, community impact, and adherence to health and safety standards as part of the company's mission to revolutionize the grocery industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure fresh and appealing displays by maintaining clean and well-stocked shelves
  • Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases
  • Monitor and prevent spoilage, communicating waste to relevant team members
  • Assist with sampling programs and maintain sample areas
  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks
  • Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Report safety hazards and violations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
