Job Description

Overview

As a Team Leader at Daniel Defense, you will oversee a manufacturing team, ensuring daily production goals and key performance indicators are met. You will be responsible for training and developing team members while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a manufacturing team typically consisting of 5-9 employees
  • Support, train, and develop team members to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Set and monitor daily production goals and metric reporting
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Utilize Lean tools for continuous process improvement
  • Demonstrate commitment to environmental health and safety principles

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
  • Knowledge of safety management and quality control
