Overview

As a Team Leader at Daniel Defense, you will play a crucial role in leading a manufacturing team to achieve daily production goals while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position requires overseeing a small team, implementing processes, and fostering a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a manufacturing team of 5-9 employees to meet daily production goals
  • Provide training and development for team members
  • Monitor and report on daily production metrics
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Implement and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Troubleshoot and solve production issues
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing tools for process improvement
  • Commit to environmental health and safety principles

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent education
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
