Overview

The Team Lead, AAdvantage Business Strategy and Design at American Airlines is a pivotal role within the Commercial Division, focusing on customer segmentation, value proposition definition, competitive analysis, and customer feedback programs. This position is aimed at driving continuous improvement and ensuring that strategic decisions are informed by customer insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop detailed customer segmentation models for marketing and engagement strategies
  • Define and evolve value propositions for key customer segments based on research and performance
  • Establish and manage structured customer feedback mechanisms, translating findings into actionable changes
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to inform strategic decisions
  • Design and implement a closed-loop feedback framework to ground decisions in customer insights
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Delivery teams for successful implementation of initiatives

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 4 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience with customer segmentation and value proposition definition
  • Experience with customer feedback programs and closed-loop learning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau
