Overview

The Teacher at South Learning Center is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment while promoting the positive development of children. This role involves coordinating activities, teaching learning objectives, and supporting the Lead Teachers in academic and nonacademic tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Assist Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating activities
  • Teach and implement learning objectives for various age groups
  • Greet parents and children during drop-off and pick-up
  • Assist with daily tasks such as diapering, laundry, and cleaning
  • Ensure compliance with state mandated child/staff ratios and regulations
