Overview

The Teacher at CoxHealth's South Learning Center is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes the positive development of children. The role involves assisting Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating academic and non-academic activities while engaging with parents during drop-off and pick-up times.

Key responsibilities

  • Help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Assist Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating activities
  • Teach and implement learning objectives for children
  • Greet parents and children at drop-off and pick-up
  • Perform daily tasks such as diapering, cleaning, and stocking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with state mandated child/staff ratios and regulations
