Job Description

Overview

The Teacher at South Learning Center is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes the positive development of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This role involves assisting Lead Teachers with academic and nonacademic activities and ensuring compliance with state regulations related to child care.

Key responsibilities

  • Help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Assist Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating activities
  • Teach and carry out learning objectives for all ages and classrooms
  • Greet parents and children during drop-off and pick-up
  • Perform daily tasks such as diapering, cleaning, and stocking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with child/staff ratios and regulations
