Overview

The Teacher at L.E. Cox Medical Centers is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for children while promoting their positive development. This role involves assisting Lead Teachers in planning and executing academic and nonacademic activities, as well as performing daily care tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Help plan and coordinate activities with Lead Teachers
  • Teach and implement learning objectives for various age groups
  • Greet parents and children during drop-off and pick-up
  • Assist with daily tasks such as diapering, laundry, and cleaning
  • Ensure compliance with state mandated child/staff ratios
  • Stock supplies for the next day
