Overview

The Teacher at L.E. Cox Medical Centers is responsible for fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for children, promoting their development and assisting in academic and nonacademic activities. This role requires interaction with both children and parents while supporting daily tasks and maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Assist Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating activities
  • Teach and execute learning objectives for various age groups
  • Greet parents and children during drop off and pick up
  • Perform daily tasks such as diapering, cleaning, and stocking supplies
  • Comply with state mandated child/staff ratios and regulations
