Overview

As a Teacher at Reardan Edwall Elementary with KinderCare Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting elementary-aged children and their families during out-of-school time. Your responsibilities will include mentoring less experienced teachers, implementing tailored curriculum, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for students while collaborating with parents and staff to achieve educational goals.

  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Partner with parents to provide optimal care and education
  • Support center success in enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, and community partners

Required skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy
  • 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and engage in activities with children
  • Fluent in English for communication
