Overview

As a Teacher at ECE Maddox with KinderCare Education, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment for children and leading a team of educators. Your focus will be on implementing curriculum, mentoring fellow teachers, and ensuring a high standard of care and education for young learners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom
  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum tailored to each child's needs
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education
  • Support the center's success in achieving enrollment and accreditation goals
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, community contacts, and corporate partners

Required skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy
  • 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in activities with children
  • Proficient in English to communicate effectively with children and parents
