Overview

North Bay Children is seeking a Teacher to join their team in Sonoma, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in Early Childhood Education and hold an Associate Child Development Teaching Permit or higher. The position involves working closely with a team to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom
  • Obtain and maintain Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR certification
  • Engage in self-assessment and participate in job performance evaluations
  • Support the implementation of child behavior plans and resource referrals
  • Maintain required supervision of children at all times in accordance with licensing regulations
  • Develop meaningful relationships with parents through open communication

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education
  • 12-24 ECE units or CTC Associate Teacher permit
  • Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Classroom management
