Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join as Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the U.S. on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to assist customers in navigating their tax needs, while building long-term relationships and loyalty within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to identify deductions and optimize refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through personalized interactions.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually.

Required skills

  • Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses and active PTIN.
  • Minimum 3 years experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Flexible availability for a 25-34 hour work schedule, including weekends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
