Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Support Associates for seasonal roles in TurboTax locations across the United States. This position combines tax expertise and community engagement, focusing on helping customers navigate their tax needs and fostering long-term relationships within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax
  • Engage and convert potential customers into long-term clients
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professionalism
  • Utilize video communication tools to assist customers
  • Build a local and online social presence related to tax education

Required skills

  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses and an active PTIN
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Flexible availability for 25-34 hour work weeks
  • Collaboration skills and respect for colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment
  • Interest in creating tax-related content and resources
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
