Overview

Intuit is seeking dedicated Tax Associates for seasonal positions at TurboTax locations, where they will provide tax preparation and advisory services to customers. This role requires a proactive approach to engage with the community and build long-term client relationships while supporting customers in understanding their tax needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax and represent the brand positively.
  • Engage new prospects and convert leads into loyal clients.
  • Conduct local events to promote accessibility and understanding of tax topics.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for clients.
  • Uncover tax deductions and liability optimization during consultations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to assist clients with their financial goals.
  • Utilize communication tools to connect with clients in-person and virtually.
  • Build a local online presence and create tax-related educational content.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50+ federal and state individual tax returns.
  • Proficiency in using professional tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in tax advisory services beyond filing.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage priorities.
  • Comfortable with technology and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
