Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Associates - Retail On-Site to support TurboTax locations across the U.S. during the tax season. This role involves assisting customers with their tax needs, building long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty while representing TurboTax in the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide tax advice and complete tax return preparation services for clients with various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax-related challenges.
  • Utilize marketing support and resources to build a strong local TurboTax presence.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software
  • Understanding of Circular 230
  • Ability to obtain relevant state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in client outreach activities
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus
