Job Description

Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates in retail TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise and community engagement to support customers in navigating their tax needs while growing the TurboTax client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax and engaging with new prospects
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients with various tax situations
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to minimize liabilities and maximize refunds
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals
  • Interact with customers in-person and via video communication
  • Assist customers in overcoming tax-related challenges

Required skills

  • Possess or be able to obtain required State licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professio
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of 25-34 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
