Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Associates - Retail On-Site to join their team during the tax season. In this role, you will assist customers with their tax needs at TurboTax locations, leveraging your tax expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to enhance client relationships and foster community engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing efforts.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and offer tax planning advice.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism.
  • Address client inquiries and assist them in overcoming tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Ability to obtain related State licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule of 25-34 hours.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services.
