Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates - Retail On-Site. This seasonal position involves helping customers with tax preparation and advice while establishing long-term relationships within the community. The role emphasizes bringing in new customers and providing exceptional service using TurboTax products, both in-person and virtually.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax in the community as a proactive ambassador.
  • Engage with potential clients to convert them into long-term customers.
  • Provide comprehensive tax preparation and advisory services.
  • Conduct tax reviews and discovery sessions to identify deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience through professionalism and support.
  • Address client inquiries and assist in overcoming tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state tax returns using tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services.
