Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the U.S. on a seasonal basis. This role focuses on helping customers with tax preparation and advice while building relationships in the community to grow TurboTax's client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax by engaging with potential clients and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for clients, handling both simple and complex situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by connecting with clients and addressing their inquiries.
  • Leverage technology, including video communication tools, to interact with clients both in-person and virtually.

Required skills

  • Possess or be able to obtain relevant state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
