Overview

KPMG is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join their Business Tax Services practice in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services for pass-through entities and partnerships within the Asset Management sector, while working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and high-profile clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver industry knowledge
  • Build and manage client relationships
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants
  • Advise clients and ensure high quality tax service and advice
  • Participate in and contribute to external market and business activities

Required skills

  • Minimum of two years of relevant tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate complex information
  • Capability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
