Title: Tax SeniorCompany: Large tech company Compensation: $95K-$105K base + bonus + RSUs (generous total compLocation: San Diego (onsite, 5 days/week)Overview:High-visibility opportunity to join a corporate tax team supporting income tax provision and financial reporting for a large, complex global organization. This role offers strong exposure to leadership, cross-functional teams, and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Support quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, including current and deferred calculationsPrepare and analyze tax provision schedules, reconciliations, and supporting workpapersAssist with financial reporting requirements including footnotes and disclosuresSupport effective tax rate analysis, forecasting, and budgeting initiativesPartner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and external advisorsContribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of corporate tax or public accounting experienceExposure to ASC 740 / tax provision processes preferredStrong Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced close environmentPreferred Qualifications:CPA or progress toward certificationExperience with large ERP or tax provision systemsBackground in multinational or public company environmentStrong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement focusDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
