Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Associates to join their TurboTax team on a seasonal basis in Naperville, Illinois. This role focuses on assisting customers with their tax needs, building relationships within the community, and contributing to positive financial outcomes for clients. The position requires on-site work at a TurboTax location and involves providing comprehensive tax services and advice.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax and engage with potential clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation and advice for various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and refunds.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional interactions.
  • Utilize video communication tools to support clients in person and virtually.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional sof
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.
  • Available for a flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
