Overview

Intuit is looking for Tax Associates to join their TurboTax team in Fort Worth, Texas, on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise, community engagement, and customer service to assist individuals with their tax needs and build long-lasting relationships within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling both simple and complex tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and discovery sessions to identify deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Ability to obtain state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Proficient in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
