Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Associates for seasonal roles in TurboTax locations across the United States. This position combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on helping customers navigate their tax needs while building long-term relationships within the local community. Tax Associates will work both in-person and virtually, providing comprehensive tax services and advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax in the local community and lead outreach efforts to attract new clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for clients, handling a range of tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions and optimize refunds.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create lasting relationships with clients.
  • Use technology to interact with clients and deliver a best-in-class experience.

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience in filing federal and state individual tax returns using professional software.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and ability to obtain related state licenses.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage a flexible schedule and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
