Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Associates to join their TurboTax team in Dallas, Texas on a seasonal basis. This role will involve providing tax preparation and advisory services, engaging with the local community to build TurboTax's client base, and empowering customers to improve their financial outcomes through expert guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospective clients and conducting outreach.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services for a range of tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and provide tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Utilize Intuit's technology and tools to support customers in-person and virtually.

Required skills

  • Tax preparation experience with 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
