Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for TurboTax locations on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to assist customers in navigating their tax needs while expanding TurboTax's client base. Tax Associates will provide full-service tax return preparation and personalized advice to foster financial growth for clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage potential clients and convert them into loyal customers.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and optimize tax situations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through professional interactions.
  • Address client inquiries and assist with tax-related challenges.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual tax returns per season
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software
  • Understanding of tax codes and regulations, including Circular 230
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with technology, including CRM and sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
  • Interest in building a local social presence and creating educational content
