Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join as Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the U.S. for the tax season. This role focuses on leveraging tax expertise to assist customers with their tax needs, build a client base, and foster community engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador and represent TurboTax locally.
  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize refunds and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences and build long-term trust with clients.
  • Interact with customers in-person and virtually using communication tools.

Required skills

  • Possession or ability to obtain relevant State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation and CRM/sales tools.
