Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join as Tax Associates in retail locations, offering a unique opportunity combining tax expertise and community engagement. This role focuses on providing tax services and building customer relationships to empower individuals in managing their tax needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with local prospects and building long-term relationships.
  • Provide comprehensive tax return preparation and advice for various tax situations.
  • Host local events and participate in marketing to make tax topics accessible.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
  • Utilize communication tools for both in-person and virtual client interactions.

Required skills

  • Possession or ability to obtain relevant state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Minimum 3 years experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using tax preparation sof
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services
