Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Associates to join their team at new TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers with their tax needs, while building lasting relationships and driving customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax in the community and engage with potential clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients.
  • Conduct tax reviews and discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via Intuit's video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing at least 50 federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Flexibility for a 25-34 hour weekly schedule with evening and weekend availability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
