Overview

Intuit is looking for highly motivated Tax Associates to join their TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers meet their tax needs while fostering long-term relationships and driving loyalty within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support clients in achieving their financial goals.
  • Connect with customers through both in-person and virtual interactions using Intuit's communication tools.

Required skills

  • Possession of necessary state licenses and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and technology skills.
