Overview

Intuit is seeking dedicated Tax Associates for seasonal, on-site positions at TurboTax locations in the U.S. This role involves using tax expertise to help customers navigate their tax needs and empowers them to achieve positive financial outcomes. Associates will engage with the community, build relationships, and provide comprehensive tax services, both in-person and virtually.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax.
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Lead local events and participate in marketing efforts.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and full tax preparation services.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and planning sessions.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences while addressing inquiries.
  • Utilize TurboTax marketing support and technology to enhance services.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Proficiency in professional tax preparation software.
  • Ability to obtain related state licenses and active PTIN.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including peak seasons.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax regulations.
  • Interest in building a local and online social presence.
