Job Description

Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs, build relationships, and drive client loyalty. The Tax Associate will provide full-service tax preparation and advice while assisting customers both in-person and virtually using TurboTax products.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador, promoting TurboTax and engaging with local prospects.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions and future tax planning opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Interact with customers using video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Proficient in using professional tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
