Overview

Gerson, Preston, Klein, Lips, Eisenberg, Gelber GPKLEG is seeking motivated Tax Managers to join their Tax Services division in Miami. The role focuses on helping businesses improve tax efficiencies, ensure compliance, and facilitate better decision-making for clients in diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Review tax adjustments to financial statements
  • Manage engagements and client expectations effectively
  • Ensure timely completion of engagements on budget with high quality
  • Handle firm administrative functions and projects
  • Establish engagement project budgets and due dates

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA License or eligibility to take CPA exam preferred
  • Experience using tax preparation software
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Strong communication skills for conveying analysis to clients
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Motivated to meet client deadlines
  • Team player with strong relationship skills
