Overview

KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice, focusing on providing tax compliance and advisory services for Asset Management clients. This role involves working with a diverse team to address complex business challenges while cultivating client relationships and managing a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients and build client relationships
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
  • Deliver high quality tax service and advice to clients
  • Participate in market and business activities external to the firm

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM
  • Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, and corporations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
