KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to diverse clients in the asset management sector, alongside managing a team of tax professionals and assistants. Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Oversee engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets
  • Deliver high-quality tax service and advice to clients
  • Contribute to external market and business activities

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM
  • Prior experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, and corporations
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
