Overview

KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to asset management clients, while leading a team of tax professionals. Candidates will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes innovative tax solutions and long-term career development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for asset management clients
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Act as the point of contact for client relationships and manage a portfolio of clients
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing and project budgets
  • Deliver high-quality tax service and advice to clients
  • Participate in market and business activities outside the firm

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, or other approved credentials
  • Prior experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, and corporations
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
