This role oversees tax engagements from planning through completion, mentors staff accountants, manages client relationships, and contributes to the firm's billing and profitability goals. This is an in-office position based in our Dallas office. Key Responsibilities Manage and review individual, business, and/or fiduciary tax returns for accuracy and complianceDevelop and implement tax planning strategies for clientsMentor, train, and supervise staff accountants and senior associates, providing feedback and supporting their professional growthManage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned accountsPrepare and manage client billing, including monitoring engagement budgets, realization, and timely invoicingCommunicate with clients regarding tax notices, deadlines, and planning opportunitiesStay current on federal, state, and local tax law changesCollaborate with partners and other managers on firm initiatives and workflow managementWhat We Offer Competitive salary based on experienceWork-life balance, including reasonable hours especially outside of peak tax seasonHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with firm matchFlexible time offCPE support / continuing education reimbursementSupportive, team-oriented office cultureLJB CPA is an equal opportunity employer.
