Our professionals work closely with experienced leaders, develop meaningful client relationships, and have opportunities to expand their technical expertise and leadership skills.The Hawkins Ash CPAs Spring Tax Internship offers an opportunity to develop your skills, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact for clients.What you'll do: Gain hands-on tax-related experienceParticipate in the January Intern Training event to help you obtain the technical skills needed to start contributing right awayReceive on-the-job training and real-world experience working with clients; putting what you learned in the classroom to use Have the opportunity to work directly with staff -from Associates to Partners- and learn directly from themPrepare individual and business income tax returnsConduct tax research and convey information to your supervisorAssist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements to enable effective and informed decision-makingDemonstrate your work ethic, knowledge, and interest in joining Hawkins Ash CPAs full-timePerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedOur ideal candidate will:Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in AccountingHave completed a corporate or individual taxation classActively be achieving credits to sit for the Certified Public Accountant examHave excellent skills in communication, organization, and attention to detail Exhibit strong computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $27.00 per hour.Hawkins Ash CPAs office locations: Brookfield • Green Bay • La Crosse • Manitowoc • Marshfield • Medford • Mequon • Neenah • Rochester • St. Charles • Winona
