Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts to join their TurboTax team on a seasonal basis, focusing on community engagement and client relationships. This role involves providing tax preparation services and advice, aiming to empower customers in achieving positive financial outcomes while driving TurboTax's local presence.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation for clients with various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to identify deductions and optimize tax returns.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with customers in-person and through video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing individual 1040 tax returns using professional software.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
