Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Experts at TurboTax locations for the seasonal tax preparation period. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to assist clients in navigating their tax needs and fostering positive financial outcomes while promoting TurboTax's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services for clients with varying tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by building long-term relationships.
  • Utilize video communication tools to interact with clients.
  • Engage in local marketing efforts and community outreach to promote TurboTax.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or practicing attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Highly adaptable and collaborative team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
