Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Tax Experts to join their TurboTax Store team in New Rochelle, NY, on a seasonal basis. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate their tax needs and fostering positive financial outcomes. Your responsibilities will include providing tax preparation and advice, establishing long-term relationships, and engaging with the local community to grow TurboTax's client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax as a community ambassador and engage with potential clients.
  • Convert prospects into long-term clients through outreach and marketing efforts.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation services for clients handling various tax situations.
  • Facilitate tax reviews and future planning sessions with clients.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through genuine interest and professionalism.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
